This beloved Italian restaurant, bar, and caterer has cultivated a loyal following with its hearty, authentic dishes and a casual, welcoming dining environment.

The culinary focus here is unmistakably Italian, with menu highlights that truly celebrate the rich, comforting flavors of the Mediterranean. Among the standout dishes, The Original Clam Pie earns raves for its exceptional taste and perfect balance of fresh seafood and savory crust—a customer favorite cited by many, including Maria Aurora Rivera who exclaimed, “The clam pie is out of this world!” Whether shared as a delightful snack or a satisfying meal, this pie is a testament to the kitchen’s mastery.

Other delectable offerings like the Veal Parmigiana served with Pasta and Veal Piccata with Potato & Vegetable highlight tender, expertly cooked proteins bathed in rich sauces that immediately conjure the warmth of a traditional Italian kitchen. For lighter options, the Reggio Arugula Pizza and Eggplant Rollatini provide fresh, vibrant tastes with an exquisite balance of textures and flavors. The Mussels Marinara and Spaghetti with Marinara are further examples of the restaurant’s dedication to wonderfully executed classic recipes.

Road House’s bar offers a charming spot to unwind, with a well-curated selection including refreshing Sangria, craft drafts, and an intimate 10-seat setup perfect for catching a game or enjoying friendly conversation. The dining atmosphere strikes a warm, approachable tone—while some longtime visitors, like Mike Bono, note changes from its rustic past, the open dining space combined with a cozy bar provides a relaxed setting to savor comfort food with friends or family. The kitchen’s pace is attentive, delivering dishes within expected times, as noted by Chun Yang, who appreciated the well-cooked textures and balanced flavors, especially in the meatballs and pasta dishes.

Whether you’re returning as a longtime fan or exploring Staten Island’s Italian dining scene for the first time, Road House offers a flavorful journey steeped in tradition and friendly service. For those craving the familiarity of robust Italian classics paired with a lively bar, this restaurant remains a cherished staple where memorable meals unfold.

The clam pie is out of this world!!! We got a small pie so it was basically a snack for two of us. We each got 3 slices. But it's just sooo good. Whenever I'm in Staten Island this is one of our must go to places!!

Stopped in for the first time in many years. The rustic look of the old roadhouse is long gone, and unfortunately it seems so is the pizza I remember. They have about a 10 seat bar with a couple of TVs and a few drafts at the front of an open dining room. Bartender very pleasant and welcoming. Had a thin crust bar pie that reminded me of a decent bar pie from a sports bar that needs to be jazzed up with grated cheese and red peppers flakes, whereas many years ago was one of the top pies on the Island. Food smelled good and I’m sure it is a solid option now and then if you are local.

Ordered the calamari, meatballs, spicy sausage pasta and the chicken a LA roadhouse. Food came out in the time they said it would. Texture and flavor of meatballs was delicious and nice. Calamari had good flavor was a light marinara. The chicken a LA roadhouse was a bit salty due to the prosciutto but still good. Lastly the pasta was cooked well, had the appropriate amount of kick (light but still flavorful without pain). Overall really enjoyed this meal. I'd definitely come back
